how to turn on/off line-wrapping in posts?

I just noticed today that my post and some other users are line-wrapped when posted. How do I turn that on and off?

Well, they're all gonna wrap. Posts up against the google ads are gonna wrap more quickly, of course. You can use code tags and it won't wrap until you enter a carriage return. It'll be a little annoying if you write long sentences like this one, however:
