Suggestion

Joe,
In light of our attacks by someone who didn't like the advice they got from us. Could there be something in the FAQ about asking for advice at your own risk?

Was that the Big Fat Gorrilla Face ordeal or something else?

Yeah. But he registered as different users several times and spammed us. Plus there seems to have been a string of wierd users after the problem with the BMX kids and the Fat Gorilla dude. So I was just thinking that if Joe put something about asking and receiving advice at your own risk that might aide in shunning future attacks. Just a thought.

It's not a bad idea but I think that some people will 'choose' to be offended no matter what you do. Some people enjoy conflict. Thankfully they're in the minority.

"At your own risk" wouldn't have any impact on malicious behavior.

It's like "Drug-Free Zone" signs--what a joke. (There are even "Gun-Free Zone" signs. Oh, gosh! I'll have to take my Glock back home before I go in there. Be right back.)

My favorite (and one that annoys me greatly every time I see it) is one near here that says, "No Trespassing in School Zone."

As though it were OK to trespass everywhere else!

Just a lot of clutter for nothing--and a subtle reinforcement to the media's money-cow idea that times are REALLY DESPERATE these days.

They've always been. Wake up.
