User Levels

Hello Is there a system on the boards where the more posts you make the higher level you go? Like if you get over 500 posts are you like a VIP (example only). If so could you tell me what the levels are and how many posts are needed to gain the level. Thanks

The best level to have is 'Donating Member', IMO.

I think junior and senior are the others. Most people don't use them - you can change the text from Newbie in your control panel. I don't know the number of posts.

I prefer either the donating member, or the "I don't post just to get my numbers up" title. Worthless posting is not only annoying, but takes more time to sort through for the people looking for useful information.

Just my thoughts on it.

There is actually a system of user levels, but I'm not entirely sure what the numbers are. I think it goes <5 posts = newbie; 5-50=junior member; 50+= senior member. It dates back to a time when traffic was considerably less than it is now. It used to be 100+ you could choose your own title, but I think any member can do that now.
