List which OS you are reporting, iPhone or Android, and what the bug does, in detail if you can. I'm trying to keep this in one thread, for the development teams.

Overall, I like the Android App but am having a problem with it. When I respond to a message and use the "Quote" icon, I can enter the first letter and when I enter the second letter of the first word, the text jumps to the middle of the message I am responding to and starts typing over words. It makes the Quote function unusable.

Still having the same problem. I can not respond to a quote that responded to my post. Any letter I hit puts my curser in middle of the quote I am responded to.

The Developer team is still working on that issue.

When will we have the ability to see which posts are new since our last login? as of the last time I checked, the android app only highlights newposts since the app was opened, not last login(from desktop, for example).

I think the iPhone app isn't resetting the "last login" time, so I don't get new email notifications when I log in to the iPhone site/app, the way I do when I visit the web site.

I do know it's being worked on. It's a synch issue between the interfaces, though, and I do not have a timeline yet.

Android.
When you click "unread" it goes to the page before the last page, or something. I'm not sure. Definitely doesn't go to unread.
Also, not having a "User CP" makes the whole thing almost useless. I can't view my subscriptions, but yet it assumes that if I log in then I've read everything I'm subscribed too. The subscription system is broken, but it's also broken on the website version, so I suppose that's not a bug... definitely annoying though.

You can view your messages, friends, and stuff. But you can't view your subscriptions. Under "Settings" for whatever reason, on the regular website. That's not anywhere on the Android app.

I am still having the same problem. I tried responding to a post using the quote option. I could type the first letter but the second letter would appear in the middle of the post I was responding to. I needed to use my laptop to respond.

I was wondering why the Android app ignores the ignore list? Also on the quote function, there are times I put the cursor at the bottom and start typing that it just over types every letter. Also there is no multi-quote function.

The quote is unusable. It just moves all around wherever the cursor wants to. Impossible to use.
So basically, I can't view my subscriptions, I can't reply to quotes, it doesn't actually go to the proper first unread post. Why did I pay for this again?

I have to kind of agree with your last sentence. Like I'm sure many others here, I'm a member of a few other forum sites. One site also has an app, they don't charge for it. And it doesn't seem to suffer the same problems.

I do have a question, why does one have to "open" a post to follow a link and why do some links not work? I'm not talking about links that have been fubarred by the censor bots.

iOS app gives a connection error, then crashes. I think it's only on wifi, 3G seems OK. Only way to temporarily cure it is to kill the app, then relaunch it.

Important question!
BTW, I've noticed om two sites that seem to use the same video player app to sub for You Tube's/others won't respond on this site...something like this comes up in the error notice of IE8:
This example-

I've had issues with youtube with Firefox, recently, fwiw. They seem to have broken the flash in the last upgrade.

s.ytimg.com is related to You Tube and Google, isn't it? I had to xxx out parts of the URLs/URIs to post it on Voices as an autocensor demands 0 links. That's tricky.

I am getting extremely frustrated with the Android app. At this point I would give it negative feedback and would not recommend it because of the problem with the quote function. It doesn't look like anyone is working on a fix.
