AVG warning
For those users of the AVG anti-virus software who have received a warning when visiting this site, our tech team is actively monitoring your reports. We encourage you to update your AVG virus definition to the latest version as soon as you can.
At this time it appears that the warning is due to a faulty virus definition set in the previous AVG release. AVG released a patch today that should relieve the warning. Please update accordingly. If you continue to receive this warning, please let us know.

Thanks heavens for that, it was driving me bat**** last night. I wanted to contact one of the moderators but couldn't even do that. It seems to have sorted itself now.

I was wondering what was wrong with this forum. My AVG anti-virus software keeps flagging up threats whenever I exited from each forum thread. But it seems to have disappeared now.

I had a curious situation where AVG reported the virus "HTML/Framer" and blanked everything out when I visited the forum, but then when I went to the site it said there were "No reports of malware at bikeforums.net for the last 30 days".
Glad I can get my fix, er, I mean social interaction again

More often than not a bad update has to be rolled back and updates reinstalled where AVG is involved. Sometimes it takes more time for them to solve a problem.
