Bike Forums "warmshowers" sub forum
 

I like to help out other forum members when I can and they are touring through my area. I also have received fantastic help, city tours, transportation, places to stay (once I had a whole house to myself and my buddy :)). These generous offers all came from members that noticed I would be touring through their region.

I thought a more formal way to offer help might be helpful. I am thinking it should be a sub forum of the touring forum. Perhaps regional like the regional ride forum that we already have.

I am thinking posts should be restricted to those offering help as opposed to those seeking it. Arrangements could be made via PM.

Thoughts?

I don't know that it could get enough traffic for a sub forum, but you could start a thread and see if it generates interest.

We'll stickie it in touring. That's where it would draw the most interest, anyway.
