Moderators - Please Enable Profile Photo Upload

I would like to give myself some sort of bikey profile photo. I have read FAQ as to how to perform this function and there is no option under account/ profile settings for me to do this. Is there a secret pass code? Do I have to have posted at least 1000 posts? What gives?

Thanks, Velocivixen

Profile photo or avatar?

Avatar is handled by hitting the "Settings" link in the upper right-hand corner. Don't know about profile photo. I don't use it.

Under "Settings" in top right there is an "edit profile picture" tab (under edit avatar) where it allows you to upload a picture. It works. I just did it to test.

OK, I was confusing "Profile" with "Avatar" - so I will now have to decide how to visually represent my presence.

Thanks.

Do like I do. Pick one then keeping changing it to keep everyone off guard and the NSA from picking up your scent.

BTW, I've been meaning to ask what's that thing the naked dude in your avatar is playing with in his lap? Is this forum now NSFW?

My avatar is there, as is my Profile photo.
No way would I post a pic of me, although there's already a video on this forum.

I'm like Woodrow Coll in that regard.

Yes. I can't leave well enough alone, either.
I had this one for a while, but figured the mods would probably track me down.

I believe you're right, WNG. According to historians, Kirchner did that woodcut of one of his models, Franzi, holding a small doll.
When I start messing with my avatar, it's a sure sign I'm finding the majority of the posts on C&V ho-hum….which is a sure sign I'm spending too much time looking at it…and a sign I need to get up and do something else.

There's something anti-artistic about that.

(My avatar is a painting by my daughter)

But I am curious about what happens to the avatars when you are not signed in

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
