Any known issues with Opera
I use Opera when viewing Bike Forums and it must crash Opera at least four to eight times per day. Do we know if there's a necesarry plug in or have the software developers not paid sufficient attention to the less popular browsers?

Yeah, I upgraded from 51 this morning but just now 54 crashed. I do believe it may be a connectivity issue. Once it crashed about 5 times in a row. Finally I opened it in Firefox and noticed the site was down/diconnected.

i dont like Opera and Opera wont let me uninstall it either im more partial to firefox and the mozilla browsers, try them man

Edit the registry if it won't let you take it out. I like Firefox and the others, I've just grown used to Opera. At work I like to divide everything into it's own little boxes. I use IE for work related stuff. Opera for browsing forums. Firefox for other sites and I'll keep Nutscrape open to compare loads.

yeh im a little nervous when it comes to registries i sure wouldnt want to delete the wrong file, i tried getting rid of it from the control panel and then remove hardware but every time i do i get some weird error message, for some reason the uninstall wont initialize.

If you're worried about it. Get a tech to edit your registry for you. Should take about ten minutes max and cost about $25 tops.
Either that or install the latest version over the top and see if that helps. Opera isn't a bad browser really.

I'm having a problem with loging on with Opera, switched to IE and I'm in first time.
Didn't try Firefox..will see later if it works.

The funny thing is it does this a lot with BF. (7.54).
Bonus for 8 beta is gmail support.
To IE users: I hope you like slow and crappy.
To Firefox users: Hope you like using IE rebranded.

I've used older versions of Opera on my laptop, my desktop, my phone and my PDA to view BikeForums and have not had a problem with crashing. Admittedly, I have not tried the latest release.
BTW, how is it that Firefox is IE rebranded? The internal architecture of both browsers radically differ.

I use Opera 7.54 at home with no problem. However, Opera at work crashes every session when browsing BikeForums.
I like Opera for the mouse gestures but use Firefox from time to time, also. Regardless, I refuse to use IE.

The only issue I've noticed since switching to Firefox is that when I go back to a previous page in BikeForums, it opens at the top of the page, as opposed to where I left it. In other forums/sites I visit, it goes back to where I was. Since I browse the forums from the bottom up, I constantly have to scroll down to go to the next forum or next thread. It's not that big of a deal, I've gotten used to it.
