Frame builder in the east coast

I just registered for the UBI Ti frame building course next May. However I would prefer to learn about the field a little sooner. Is there east coast framebuilder that can teach me about the trade in Dec? I am free for almost the entire month. I am open to working with aluminum, chromoly, or Ti.

Thanks,
Yan

I bet there's others... You could also check in with a local community college to see if they offer a welding course. Not so much stick or MIG welding, but TIG welding and/or brazing would be good skills to pick up before even stepping foot in a bike frame building setting.

The Artisan's Asylum in Somerville, MA offers classes on occasion: https://artisansasylum.com/

I suspect that the OP is looking for a fuller experience then a class. If I'm correct then this is what an existing relationship with builder develops into. Not one that starts by just asking. Andy.

I live in CT and can teach you tig welding with aluminum, steel and ti, mitering and setup/alignment. I'm also a novice but have a few frames under my belt and have been welding for years. My shop is in a detached garage/workshop so no worries with time or work hours, etc.
