Frame builder Allan Wanta?

Anyone know anything about Allan Wanta? There's not much info online. What little I did find got me very intrigued.

There's an old track bike that he built listed for sale locally. I think the asking price is a bit high, given the bike's condition. And I need another fixed gear bike like I need a hole in my head. Still, I'm really curious.

What can you tell me about him and his products?

He was in California until a few years ago, now he is in Florida. He is known mostly for his refinish work, i.e. repaints. He does great work at a very reasonable cost and usually responds to messages, email/phone quite promptly. I wouldn't doubt that the frame is a well built machine.

My refinish dealing with Wanta was fairly mixed/bad. His cost is reasonable, his communication is good. His work was not.
