- pretty interesting and fast moving. You see them build a lugged frame, and a welded one.

Certainly not shy about bringing the bb up to temp, 1:30 in, then removes it from the "mini-hearth" and uses the torch to flow the brass where it needs to go.

I learned that it's less about not getting the joint too hot as it is having an even temp across the joint. Al Eisentraut use to tell a story about visiting Italian frame shops and watching while entire head tubes and a few inches of TT and DT get bright orange hot during the brazing, using either multiple tips, one large rose bud or a hearth type of set up. And yet still require manually wrenching everything into line after and doing so much hand detailing after. I imagined it would all be mostly machines.
