Fork problem on a 70s Witcomb
I have a 70s Witcomb with nice wrap around stays and campagnolo dropouts. The bike frame looks to be in very good shape but there is a visible gap between the fork crown and fork blades on the outside.
I'm not quite sure what to do about this (and how concerned should I be about this)? https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...54e4cb34ba.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...10c15d7590.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...9886ed7241.jpg |
If it's just that underfill, I don't think I would worry about it.

This gap hasn't been a problem for how many years? One of the beauties of lugged/socketed joins is the amount of overkill that is usually the case. Andy
