repair cracked seat tube
Since I recently managed to crack the tube that takes my seatpost....I now need to get some professional help...Does ayone know a framebuilder in the London Uk area that specializes/deals with Aluminium 7005 and takes on repairs? A second question is, how hard would it be to add pivots for V-brakes by a framebuilder.
Thanks a lot everybody!

It's not hard to add them, but people may well charge more to do it than to buy a new uni crown fork. And then you will have to repaint.
I would guess the same to be true of your seatpost, and unless it is splinted, it isn't likely to be stronger than it was originally and you broke that once already.
New frame?

Only real framebuilders in the london area still going are:
Witcomb Cycles (Deptford)
Chas Roberts (Croydon).
I'm sure either one can repair or recommend where you can get your frame repaired.
