Transforming a comfort bike to a road bike?
I don't know if this is possible because I have little knowledge in bikes.
I have a Schwinn Voyageur GS comfort bike, and I would like to be able to convert it into a road bike. By that I mean in the very least I would like to have drop-bars, because I like that way of riding much better
Would this mean I have to change the frame as well? How would I go about starting on this? Needless to say, I don't expect anything fancy.
Thanks.

to turn such a bicycle into a road bike will cost you many times as much as a new road bike. An entry level road bike, with Shimano Sora or Tiagra components, will be a huge step up from your comfort bike in terms of speed and efficiency.
Basically, swapping components onto the Schwinn frame will reduce its resale value and provide a conflicted, hokey ride which does nothing particularly well.
