Your question is not clear. To use an automotive equivalent question you are asking to compare Mustang to Chevrolet.

To get to your answer you might want to use Google. Type Reynolds 853 and Dedacciai tubing. Lots of info.

apples and oranges, eh? all right, that answers my question there. neither's better, just depends on the application?

it was just a friendly argument i wanted to settle...i'll call it a draw, then.

You are asking people to compare a specific tubeset from one manufacture (Reynolds 853) to what ? An entire range of tubing by another manufacture (Dedacciai)?

FYI, 851 tubing comes in a very wide range of diameters and thicknesses. A killer stiff or a noodle frame could be made from the stuff depending on the specific tubes picked. Dedacciai is a tubing manufacture. They make a wide range of tubes as well, including aluminum and carbon. So again, what do you want us to compare? Both Reynolds and Dedacciai make a quality product. Neither is better or worse than the other.
