They are a type of brake mounts callum.
And i think you would get this answered in the Frame Builders section, if you're lucky Fit or Expat would move it for you...

I do not have a BMX bike with canti studs but the Mountain Bikes in the garage canti studs are 80 mm apart, center of the post to center of post.
