Rocky Mountain frame... salvageable?

I found this frame beside a dumpster behind a local bike shop recently. Took it inside to ask about it, it turns out the owner had it locked with a u-lock and a thief tried to break the lock off by twisting the bike, thus ruining the downtube. It's a beautiful frame, Ritchey Logic tubing, I have to keep it tethered to a post so it doesn't waft away on the breeze. So far as I can see the only damage is to the downtube. Can this be repaired? Is it worth it?

It's a Rocky Mountain Blizzard, I guess mid-90s.

I guess the one piece of good news to come out of this is that the thief didn't get the bike.

not worth it at all, you could probably buy a new alu frame for what it would cost you to get that replaced. might as well have a frame tossing competition with that one.

If I were you, I'd contact Mike at MT Metalworks and ask for a quote.

Might be tricky to fix because of the small frame size, but he used to do repairs like that all the time when he worked at Brodie.
