Shimano UFP-10 track ends

So as my hadnbuilt frame gets closer to reality, I thought I'd look at my options for pieces before I commit. More hunting found the track ends I'd given up on ever finding, the elsuive Shimano dura-ace ufp-10 track ends. Euro asia imports has the, of course, but the price is unbelievable. $200?!!! for 2 hundos, i could smelt the ore and hammer out 2 steel dropouts like that. What gives on the price? Am I missing something here?

What's so special about the UFP-10s? Track ends are just steel plate, optionally Blanchard ground, after all.

I bought a pair of Kirk Pacenti's track ends with stainless faces for my new track bike. $30.00.

oooo, those are very pretty indeed. Thanks for the heads up, they seem like a much better alternative (financially). equally atractive. i used to covet the shimano's on my buddies miyata team pista. but not for that kind of money.
