chainstay clearence issues
hello everyone. i'm new to this forum and need a little help
i'm building a bike out of bamboo and need to know the q factor of the shimano deore crankset so as to overcome any possible overlap with the chainstays.
does anybody know the exact q factor of this crankset. i refering to the shimano deore m532 model name.
if someone has this crankset and would be willing to measure it (carefully and accurately please) it would be much appreciated.
thank you

I'm not a mechanic guy, but don't you have to figure the BB size into that also. I keep it simple and have picked up various width BBs from cheap sources like Nashbar. I then mock up the drivetrain real size. I guess a lot of guys came up through a bikeshop, but I have to design around the parts.
