A while back I bought a Mapp gas torch. I don't have frame-building as a goal -- just some hope of some silver soldering. The actual project I had in mind is a lilfting tab on a transom actuator (Window above interior door), but it has been moved to low priority status. Anyway, for a while, I considered adding water bottle bosses to my old bike, and actually bought them, but have not really done anything with the Mapp torch other than stuff I could have done with propane. Now I have read that Mapp gas has gone away, and map-pro is its replacement. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have any experience with this stuff, and if it is a direct replacement for Mapp.
