1995 Trek Single Track

I have an old 1995 Trek Single Track. Its rigid and not meant for front suspension. It needs a new fork. Axle to crown on old fork is 395 mm. How bad would fitting a rigid fork with an axle to crown of 410 or 415mm?

410 would be better, obviously. You might want to look for one with a little extra rake
