What do I need to start**********
I have been into bicycle for about two years I am also into drawing I have bearly start combining my two loves and designing frames. I would love to build couple but I do not know where to start..... i DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WELDING..

I'm just starting myself so I won't be much help but I have a few things to say.
A brazing class would be the place to start, I highly recommend it. However, that's not an option for me right now so I'm doing it all myself.
I have the Talbot manual mentioned above and it is really great but the one thing I feel I really need is to watch or have somebody show me how to properly heat up a joint and pull the filler. I've watched a ton of videos online but nothing has really showed me this in a helpful manner. FYI, don't watch the youtube videos "Bicycle Frame Building" by mchimonas unless you're looking for a "what not to do" video.
Another issue I'm having is that I'm using low fuming bronze for practice and my first frame and nearly everything I find is for silver. Oh well back out to the shop for more practice / trial and error.

I haven't read this book, but if it was between this and talbot I think this sounds good enough to be the better bet, though I am not really in favour of doing lugs with anything other than an oxy fuel torch. i tried a lot of alternatives when I started out...
However what I would read is Paterek. All you need is in the online version: https://www.timpaterek.com/paterek.pdf
And another way to avoid paying Tim his well deserved earnings is to rent the videos at smartflix, though you should probably compare that. Smartflix is a good service, but it doesn't pay off if there are a lot of discs in a set. I did end up with an official set of the video myself.
