If I were looking for a gold anodized stem I'd buy the aluminum alloy stem I wanted and have a local metal finisher anodize it.

What kind of stem, quill or threadless?
Nitto makes both available in gold anodized.
UI85EX is the threadless, the Pearl quill model can be had in gold.
Each are about $90 though, there have got to be cheaper alternatives.

In case it was too subtle, my point in suggesting buying an alloy stem and having it gold anodized locally is that the OP could get exactly what he wants; it could be threaded or threadless, whatever diameter, length, extension, rise, etc.

my local anodizer charges $90 for anything up to 100 pounds. The cheapest place I've seen online has a minimum $75 order.
