Under BB guide thread size?

I bought an under BB cable guide from Nova Cycles, but have no idea what size tap to use for the bolt. Any ideas?

M5, same was waterbottle bosses and dropout eyelets.

you could just Pop-rivet it on. Given, repaint would be the only reason to remove it.

Correct, thanks a bunch!

Thanks again for the help. I got a Park TAP-8 and used a 5/32" bit to drill the hole. Was easy as cake and only took a few minutes. This may be the only EighthInch Scrambler with a front derailer cable guide. :)

What are you doing to mount a rear derailleur?

Aaron_F 11-08-11 07:52 PM

It's going to be a dinglespeed, so I'm using a Paul Melvin tensioner instead of a rear derailer. I found a DMR chain tug with built-in hanger for it to mount to.
