Looking for A Copy of: Cycling C.O.N.1. - Central Sports School - Rome 1972

Hi All,

Does anyone have a copy (digital) of the in 1972 published book, Cycling C.O.N.1. by Central Sports School Rome.
Richard P. Talbot is referring too this document in his guide; Designing and Building Your Own Frameset (se) .
I have been looking for this document for quite sometime but with no result, maybe someone here can help me out?

gr,

Clemens

There's a dog-eared copy on eBay bundled with a bunch of old catalogs for a BIN price of $999.00. I think the seller has been smoking some of that funny stuff.

You need to spell it with an "I" rather than a "1".

(Unfortunately, the one at Sand Creek Sports isn't yet complete.)

Yes. It's Part 2, Chapter 5 - Modalities for constructing a frame to measure. It's only nine pages long.

I've uploaded jpeg images of the cover and the nine pages of Part 2, Chapter 5 to Photobucket:

C.O.N.I. Manual Cover

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 01

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 02

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 03

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 04

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 05

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 06

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 07

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 08

Part 2, Chapter 5, page 09

NOTE - In Table 1 on page 3, there are typos in the seat tube column. The number 43.1 should be 53.1, and the number 65.7 should be 56.7...

NOTE 2 - One thing I noticed about Talbot's book is that Table I-A on page 17 is taken directly from the C.O.N.I. manual, but the frame diagram in the C.O.N.I. manual shows the seat tube length as center-to-center (center of crank to centerline of top tube), whereas the frame diagram in Talbot's book shows the seat tube length as center-to-top (center of crank to top of seat lug). Using the seat tube length in Table I-A as the dimension shown in Talbot's frame diagram on page 13 (Figure I-1) would potentially make the seat tube too short.
