bikecad and malware!

I just went to bikecad for the first time, very cool but........several times when going to individual designs a malware warning pops up, saying the usual "go back or die"(not really but a promise of bad things to happen if I continue). So, anyone have this same experience? Malware usually means allowing access to financial records, etc., to crooks, scammers, evil people in general, which I want no part of. What are your thoughts on this aspect of the bikecad site?

thanks, Brian

Was it actual "malware" or just a generic warning because BikeCAD is java-based?

not generic, actual malware, I'll get the precise wording if I come on it again. Brian

I finally bought Bikecad and have no problems with it when I open it and use it. Andy.

yeah, it's obviously not Brent, he would probably be mortified to hear about this.

I'm too lazy to tell him though, anyone have his email?

After moving around the Bikecad site I'm pretty sure the malware warning was on a link posted by one the members, not on the bikecad site itself. Sorry I gave the impression it was bikecad, it seems that was not the case. I was in no way trying to "badmouth" the great program but was looking for assurance it was safe. If the malware warning presents itself again I will let you know, and its location as well.

Thanks for setting the record straight Brian, and thanks Andy for the supportive comment. I want to assure everyone there is no malware in BikeCAD.

Brent, thanks for chiming in. I tried to find a problem on your site and couldn't.

My purchase of Bikecad was money well spent

Thanks Unterhausen. I should be releasing another update of BikeCAD Pro in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned on Facebook and Twitter for details.
