Anything about this design an obvious trainwreck?
 

I'm playing around with a design that is inspired by vintage MTB drop-bar conversions and the 26" Rivendell Atlantis. I used Bikcad for this rendering and the wheels are 26" and the tires 50mm Schwalbe Big Apples. Does anything jump out as unworkable given the other measurements and if you were going to recommend a change, what would it be. This is a theoretical recreation/fitness/all-purpose bike. Lots of rides around the neighborhood, on local MUPS, maybe some hard-packed dirt, maybe some 20-30-40 mile rides. The goal is agile & sporty but stout enough for a large Clydesdale. Geometry is based on what I like in a 700c bike and some pulled directly from other 26" bikes or WAGS.

I like the fact that you've put the bars up at saddle level. Top tube is just about the same length as on my own do-everything bike, though mine is slightly sloping, so yours is effectively just a touch longer. I don't know about all the other dimensions, as I'm not a framebuilder. Brake bosses appear to be way too high, cantis and V-brakes have the bosses just below the level of the rim. I think you were really just playing with frame dimensions, however.

Yeah, mostly what is labeled. The detail stuff I'll leave to the frame builder...if I ever actually have it built.

The thing that stands out for me is the 45mm BB drop. My road bikes all have BB drops in the 70mm-75mm range, and even my track bikes, which typically have the least BB drop, have a 55mm drop.

The BB drop is something I took from other 26" bikes. My 700c bike has 70mm drop and I'm pretty happy with that but I have no idea how that translates to 26" wheeled bikes.

Oops! Sorry, I missed that little detail. :o Looking at the Rivendell Atlantis geometry tables, the 26" (559mm BSD rims) models have a BB drop of 48mm, and that's with 26 x 2.35 tires.
