ISO: TT cable guides and advice
I have a 2005? Wilier Mortirolo with riveted TT brake cable stops. One of them is corroded away to the point it no longer safely secures the cable.
Does anyone have 2 I could buy? The TT is aluminum so whats the best way to secure them? JB weld on the mounting surface then rivet? Steel rivets? Aluminum? Use the JB with rivets or rivets only? Thanks- Jim |
I would use a rivnut for that. Most bike shops have them. My concern would be losing part of the original rivet in the tube and having a rattle. I hate rattles.

You might use a stick on hydraulic hose Guide and a zip tie to make it work ..
