Yes; there are lots of builders who made their reputations for work with 953 and XCr who are building more and more with KVA MS3 because it's less expensive and more readily available. Reynolds' new 921 stainless is even less expensive than KVA, but just became available this year so I don't know whether or not there are availability issues.
