Name Question

If you were starting a new custom bicycle frame company, what would you choose for the second part of the name?

Let's assume for a minute the name was ABC. Would you choose:
  • ABC Cycles
  • ABC Bikes
  • ABC Bicycles
  • ABC Cycling
  • Something Else?

Go with the (racially insensitive but) already well-known and available name: Washington Redskins Custom Cycles.

LLB. Or maybe T-shirts, since that is probably where you will make the big money.

Seriously though. I think that nothing in the second part is the best, though my specific name uses cycles in the second part, because otherwise it would be too obscure. Hmm, I have to think about that. I'm a big believer in the idea of an adaptable name like amazon or apple. Maybe ten years from now you still make frames, but the money is in bus wine tours of napa, or something. I don't think it is a good idea to bind yourself to a single business, particularly one that has never made anyone much money.

Have you considered ABC Bikeworks, or to sound more fancy; bicyklenwerks, or whatever the german word would be? ABC VELO SKUNKWORKS, kinda like a import turner shop.
