Every Marine knows Belleau Wood and our Aisne Marne American Cemetery which is right beside the battlefield. Less are aware of the Oise Aisne American Cemetery, just down the road from Belleau... many a fallen Marine was laid to rest here. If you are in the area it's worth a stop.
