They opened up the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge to bikes a few years ago. It’s great because it opened up a lot of wonderful rides in the North Bay, but riding on the bridge isn’t always the most pleasurable experience. Really noisy with the high speed traffic just over the barricade. However, there was an accident on the bridge and the CHP closed traffic to all autos. Bikes only today! At least on the way out.
