Here's the bike. I bought it new at K-Mart in 1978. It became my daughter's bike and ended up forgotten in a snow bank. When I decided to restore it I found the world had changed. It needed new ball bearings in the crankset, but standard ball bearings don't exist anymore. I had to make do with metric bearings. This had to be repeated dozens of times. I paid $35 to buy this new. Restoration cost about $3000.
