For folks who live in LA or surrounding areas.
Would LA be a good city to stay and view the tour?

I would think so. The last 4 stages are all in reasonable driving distance and Stage 8 is going to go right through the city.

GMR = Glendora Mountain Road. They wil be climbing it along with a summit finish at Baldy Road for stage 7.
