Random thought.. Seat adjustment
It makes a world of difference... Fine tune it till you are comfortable
|
I agree. To not settle for the way the seat was set at the bike shop. Make small adjustments till it is perfect for you. Pay attention to where you feel pressure and then adjust the seat to even out the pressure.

I second it -even fittings at fit-expert shops that go by the book or the gauges.

Yes ... you and the bicycle are a machine. In order for a machine to work efficiently, it has to be set up properly.

I continue tweaking my seat ever so slightly getting it closer and closer to ideal. Everything from height, front to back, forward/backward tilt.
I've broken my tail bone several times in my 20s and it's caused me problems ever since. Once I started biking, it's been miserable. Some days it's worse than others. Given my position on the bike, I don't understand how it is putting pressure on my tail bone but apparently something is pressing on something else that is pressing on it. I'll figure out the seat thing at some point...it's getting closer and closer. |
how did you break your tail bone several times? snow boarding?
