Who makes the best rear-mounted double bike rack under $150?
I'm confused because there are so many models.
Which is the vest value for the money as far as ease of use and bike security? :) |
Saris Bones is the best rack I've seen. It's about $110 for a two bike.

I'm not really crazy about any strap on rack, but I think that Saris Bones is the best of the genre'.
It's quite adjustable so it will fit onto ALMOST any car and ALMOST any bike. I like the metal cam lock straps because they are less apt to loosen up en route. Nothing on it rusts. Once you mark the spine with the settings for your car it folds up nice and compact for storage when you're not using it. |

According to Saris, if you buy the Hatch Hugger attachment, it will work with any hatchback. That includes the VW New Beetle, so the Hyundai should be a piece of cake. |
If you can get the bones I would suggest getting the three bike rack over the two. The two can be a little cramped but the three gives you plenty of space and isn't much more $.

I also like the Bones.
With the hatch huggers it works fine on the Tiburon with the spoiler-I've done it. |
