Ignoring all other aspects of the question involved, my YMCA has a room of various spin bikes and I've taken a few spin classes. I wouldn't consider a spin bike that does not have the following features
1) Magnetic resistance adjustable from the handlebar.
2) Digital display of resistance and time
3) 4 way adjustable seating position
4) 4 way adjustable handlebar

Without all of those you will probably be uncomfortable in some manner and unable to repeat any workout you may devise. This bike appears to have only #3 . But at $300 you get what you pay for, a decent bolt on trainer will cost more than that.

I'd suggest paying for some spin classes and let them buy the equipment. Also having a class leader helps with motivation and 'stick-to-it-ness;

This seems to be an SEO tactic and not a legit topic
