**Warning** to "Aztec" brake pad users

I got mine from Nashbar, and they were an improvement over the stock pads on my Tektro single pivots. However, today on my ride into work, one pad seperated from the shoe. These are not removeable, refillable shoes, so this was not a matter of a refill leaving, or directional fault.

I didn't even know it happened, until I applied my brake approaching a stop sign and the empty shoe screeched against my rim.

Check yours. I won't use them again.
