I feel like part of the club now
I got to use my pump! I was riding my normal MUP route and stopped to help a fellow with a flat. I rode past at first, but turned back after a minute - ended up seeing probably 15 other people pass by without stopping, too. I'd never even used the pump before, so it was nice to see it worked well, and to talk to a fellow rider. I was disappointed that he didn't want me to help him patch it though (would also have been a first) - he decided to just limp back to the last entry point and have his wife pick him up.
The pump, for what it's worth, is a Topeak Road Morph G.

Good job. It is always nicer to be in a position to help someone else out, than to need someone to help you out....
