Martone Helmet

I searched and couldn't find anything regarding this helmet on the forums (and very little on the Internets).

Much appreciation to anyone who can answer the following:

- Is it safety certified, e.g. CPSC?

- Is there any back strap?

Bonus points to anyone who can share first-hand experience and/or who can post a picture of the inside/underside.

And, yes, I know it's goofy looking and impractically unventilated.

Thanks!

Dude! That's an equestrian helmet. Whatever protection it might (or might not) offer, it would look severely out of place on a cyclist. (Unless, of course, he was riding a horse)

Bern makes some multi-sport helmets that are a similar style and rated/certified for cycling. Heavier than most cycling helmets and much hotter due to hardly any ventilation, but they give full head coverage and might be ok for cold-weather riding.
