Brake pads

Hello everyone. I apologize in advance for asking a stupid question. I'm interested in replacing the stock brake pads on my 2014 Cannondale Quick 5. Cannondale has the factory ones listed as "Cannondale Mini V". What type of replacement pads should I be looking for? Thank you for your help.

Take one of the pads with you to the bike shop and show them what you need.

Or show up at the shop with the bike.. several ways the pad attaches to the brake..
since you dont share that detail , go to a shop that can see it.

If you buy the pad/holder assembly with the stud and nut on the back, any will work. If you get just the pad insert, it will be specific to the holder. Google "v brake pads" to see many examples.

Your brakes are Promax brakes branded with the Cannondale name. Cannondale ProMax Mini V-Brake Brake Calipers Reviews - RoadbikeReview.com You can buy the entire brake with pads for $25 on eBay so the pads should be available at any bike shop since Promax is a major brand on its own. They shouldn't be all that expensive. If you have gone through a set of pads within one year, I would suggest buying a brand like Koolstop. They should last a lot longer than one year. This is a one-piece brake pad and the only measurement that counts is the length of the pad and the way it mounts. Most likely it is 70mm.
