FINALLY got my new tires.

Last month on the 10th I ordered a pair of Schwalbe Little Big Bens from EveryBicycleTire.com. For some reason they didn't take the money from my account until the 30th, I was wondering where they were at that point, and so I got a $33 overdraw penalty from my bank. Technically my fault for not watching my balance, but I've never before ordered something online and not had the money immediately deducted, so I wasn't very pleased. They did arrive the other day, and they look really good with the color my Trek is. I was also pleased with how easily they installed, there was no need for a lever. Today I did a two hour ride taking gravel and dirt roads east of town, then coming back on the highway, and they handled it very well.

Ask your bank if they would be willing to waive the charge. Many will if you go in person.

I was considering them but Schwalbe's top of the line Marathon Dureme tires turned out to be a steal.

So I had to pass the Little Bens up.

Same with credit card late charges. Just call them. They will do a "courtesy reversal" once in a while.

Some online sellers are better than others on making clear what is in stock and what isn't. Your tires must have been out of stock when you ordered them. Too bad they didn't let you know that.
