Disc road bikes on bike trainer?

I tried to search around but didn't find any answers. Are the disc road bikes compatible with bike trainers? I'm looking at the CAAD12 Ultegra Disc and my Kinetic fluid trainer.

Thanks,

Yes. There's no reason why the type of brakes it has would make a difference.

I thought they used different kind of skewers and wasn't sure if the trainer skewer would fit.

Some disc bikes use thru axles instead of quick release skewers. If your new bike uses thru axles then you would need to get an adapter to use it on the trainer like this: https://kurtkinetic.com/products/kinetic-traxle/
