Grip Your Head
Not too many years ago in the distant past (2009-10), Headsweats made a cotton shorty. I haven't been able to find a single one. I checked Pace, and they don't seem to offer a cotton one, either. I wonder why that is and was wondering if someone knew why/where I could find one (not the ones you see at AM/PM).
they are warmer than the Coolmax and do not slip under the helmet as much as nylon, as well. Sometimes, I just like the feel of cotton. It seems to be able to grip your head better. |
Traditionally Cycle caps were cotton.. good luck with your googling..

cotton warmer than wicking poly? How can that be?

Thanks, Bob.., that's good advice.

What I've done is find a "do-rag" with a sweatband built in. This has been effective in keeping sweat out of my eyes for the most part. On hot, muggy days I still have to press on my helmet top to get the excess out of the helmet padding. I too, prefer cotton. Here is what I use:

OldsCOOL, not to hijack, but did you have the bike in your background finished with automotive paint, or is that simply a glossy powder coat finish? It looks very nicely done.
