Cable guides that go inside the frame

I've started test fitting some of my parts to my new (to me) frameset. Both derailleur cables enter the head tube go down the down tube and exits just in front of the bottom bracket on the underside. The rear brake cable enters the head tub and exits just before the seat tube. I would like to put new liner/guides inside the frame. I've found pairs sold under Jagwire brand name but would like some other options. What is the proper term for these tubes, where can I find them, is there any way to buy long pieces, cut to length and put the flare on the ends at home (I have flaring tools for both copper and steel lines). Does it take special ferrules where the inner cable goes into the frame/meets the internal cable guide/housing?

Most bike shops will sell cable and housing by the foot, but you can also find it online. My REI uses bare stainless steel cables by Jagwire, but I did not see the coated cables in their stock.

It's not the cable or cable housing, it's the tube that goes inside the frame.

My Focus came with this installed, I think it's called inner housing. On mine there is a little "donut" on each end that I guess is intended to hold it in place. I didn't use any special ferrule as I think the end of the inner housing is recessed enough it doesn't enter into the equation. The ferrule bears on the frame entry hole, not the inner housing.

It was a little fiddly getting the cable from the exit of the inner housing to the exit of the frame. On mine for the FD the inner housing actually extends about an inch out of the frame (at the FD) and is sealed at the exit.
