Adventure Cycling free membership offer

I'm a 30+ year member of and volunteer for Adventure Cycling Association, a national non-profit bicycle travel organization, and they have asked me to help spread the word about their mission which is "To inspire and empower people to travel by bicycle."

Adventure Cycling researches and publishes cycling maps (including the TransAmerica Trail, Pacific Coast Route and Great Divide Mountain Bike Route), offers a variety of online bicycle touring resources, publishes a bicycle travel magazine called Adventure Cyclist, and runs guided tours. They also have been central in the development of the US Bicycle Route System.

They have offered free trial memberships for me to disperse. Benefits of membership include a subscription to Adventure Cyclist magazine, member discounts on Adventure Cycling maps, and more. This offer is for first-time members with a US mailing address.

If you are interested in learning more about Adventure Cycling's programs and their mission please visit: www.adventurecycling.org

To take advantage of this offer you can sign-up online at:

I am a longtime life member of Adventure Cycling. It is an excellent organization. The regular price of membership is worth it, just for "Adventure Cyclist" magazine.

Thanks Kerry! When I first saw this honestly I thought it was a scam. I'm staying with one of your directors (Julie H) on my ride this year.

The six-month free subscription is legit and I just signed up for a paid subscription because it is worth it.

Registered for 6 month trial.
I 'retired' as a volunteer ski patroller and as a summer seasonal wilderness ranger for USFS this year.
Gotta get more involved somewhere.
Thanks.

I joined ACA several years ago when Kerry posted a similar offer. It has been well worth the dues. ACA has the best -- and perhaps only -- cycling magazine devoted to touring and an excellent website. I haven't ridden any of the their tours yet, but the membership has been worth it even without that -- and I hope to ride in one of their tours someday or follow one of their mapped routes on my own.
