From a weekend camping adventure with my 10yo daughter. Picked up a bucket of chicken tenders on the way to the first camping spot.

Longer days start then - but starting today, the sun will set later (while continuing to rise later), at least in my region. I'm never awake enough to care if it's light in the morning, so it's all fine by me!

Took the old Super Course over Sulphur Mountain to Ojai, CA last Sunday. Great ride 44 miles, 10 miles of dirt, 3200' climbing, several hills over 10%, gravel fire roads, and lots of burned scenery, unfortunately. Great ride, no bike issues. The Pasela PTs handled the gravel very well. I used it as a practice run for April Eroica, CA, but left the pedal clips and straps home where they belong (maybe next time). I used Mtn bike SPDs for a road I had never ridden before. Top view is view is looking west with Channel Islands in the far background. The second view is Ojai Valley, with burned foliage in front. Good times!

Slightspeed I'm envious of the green ground cover.
Did 57 miles today on the mtb, went along a rails to trails project called the high trestle mup. Here's a shot from its main attraction.
