I like riding late afternoon / sunset & noticed the streetlight shadow play on the tailgate putting the bike in my truck last evening. Still enjoying riding the heavy Continental on solo rides.

1949 Raleigh Clubman Retro-Mod, Hastings, MN

Rode my `49 Raleigh Clubman on the trails around Hastings, MN and the Vermillion River last weekend:

Saw some pretty cool stuff:

With modern sealed bearings, wheels, and brakes, she rides like a dream.

You need to be sitting under that tree musing. A silhouette will do.

Pic of a newly filled in section of gravel on a popular road that opens up a region of gravel for many in my metro. Sent it to a buddy because it was new from the prior day when we rode. Brutal section due to the loose fill.

Scaring calves during a ride in NE IA. This was a farm access road that quickly turned into a B road in the trees ahead.

Pic I took of my hand on the hood that is referenced in a hilariously dumb general cycling forum thread.

Wow- elevation is really lost in pictures. This was midway thru a relatively hilly ride and the pic makes it look as flat as Florida.

Pic of a bike I built in a framebuilding class a couple years ago.

Couple of old ones. Top one is from my stolen Trek Fuel 29er about to tackle some flowing trail, bottom two is from the giant trance. Bottom pic I supermaned otb, but the landing was super soft.
