I'll be back soon!

I was on the forum last year with my old account but forgot the details for it so I'm back again, and in the first week of May I'm planning on having my bike sent back to me from England to Ireland!

It was a brand new Norco Indie 4 in August that I literally cycled for 3 weeks before it was left behind. It's been stored indoors so I hope it's still in good condition.

I've noticed in my city cycling has just gone through the roof! Everywhere I look, parks, the city centre there's a cyclist sticking to the edge of the road or awkwardly approaching pedestrians on shared paths! I want to get involved.

I already have a great bike and as soon as I get it (and my helmet of course) back I'm wasting no time on getting back into it. What's better is my girlfriend also wants to get a bike and get involved in cycling too!!!

I own a car and have insurance, and that's been great. I love the car and driving, but I do plan on switching between driving (when the weather is bad, I have passengers or am in a REAL hurry) and cycling.

My route to the city and uni will be less than 10 miles and last time I was on the forum you all advised me this is basically nothing, and if I struggle with it now (being 20) it won't take long to get up to speed with it. The first 3 miles are country road, the rest all dedicated cycle routes.

It's such a beautiful and simple way of life. It seems too good to be true, but I'll be here with a lot of questions!

Maybe you can ask the forum to merge this account with your old one.
