Metalic powder / sparkle paint finish

Hello again,
Im looking to send my frame to be painted after beeing sandblasted and primered. Im looking to paint the frame with one color,
and am looking to get a sparkly metal flake keirin look at the end. All info would and please be as specific as possible (metal flakes with the paint or painted on seperatly, sand paper on primer before paint, oven bake or not, number of coats, paint base and type etc)
A big request but would be very much appriciated! Thanks again, Tom

That is something you should be discussing with your painter.

How much $$ do you have?

Talk to the painter before you primer the frame. The primer needs to be compatible with paint system used. It might make sense for the painter to also apply the primer.

One color? Metal flake? I wouldn't limit yourself to specialist bicycle paint shops. Check out Motorcycle paint shops as well, I'll bet they'd handle a bicycle as well.

What @Trueblood says...or a good custom auto body shop/customizer. Be a lot cheaper than a bicycle place...and probably do a better job.

I had New England Fiberglass do a midnight blue prismatic (rainbow) with small silver specks on on Grubb and he charged me about two bills. He uses powder-coating. he's in Portland, Maine. The shop is basically for boats. I recommend this guy.
